Eind 2011 valt het doek voor Ravolva.
De hoofdoorzaak voor dit besluit is dat wij steeds minder perspectieven zien voor onze band in dit veranderende muzieklandschap. Dit accumulatieve demotiverende effect heeft ervoor gezorgd dat we, als band, de instrumenten in de ring gooien. Uiteraard zijn we niet uit het veld geslagen, maar zullen we op nieuwe manieren van ons laten horen.
Een dankbetuiging is hier zeker op zn plaats. Bij deze willen we dan ook iedereen bedanken die ons de afgelopen jaren, op welke manier dan ook, gesteund heeft. Naast onze fans, familie en podia die ons plaats boden, willen we in het bijzonder onze booker/manager John Reuser bedanken.
De hoogtepunten die wij als band hebben beleefd, zullen wij niet vergeten. We willen hier in januari 2012 de laatste paar hoogtepunten aan toevoegen, met name op 6 januari in rockcafe de Engel in Den Helder. 2011-11-03 November is starting out very well for us. This weekend we will play two great shows in respectively De Bakkerij & Patronaat. The latter will be a support show, together with S as in Assassins, for post-rock band Death Letters! Tickets are available here.
Soon we can also expect some help with our band promotion and management. A group of Media & Entertainment students will assist us on these points. And don't forget to like Ravolva's FB!

Still Going Strong!
2011-09-13 Ravolva is ready for the new season! There are a lot of cool gigs coming up, so look to your right, or check our shows page for a full overview. This Friday (sept 16th) we will play with 3FM Serious Talent Coppersky at Cafe Stiels. This will be a lot of fun and good music, and our bassist Jozef will turn 25! Soon more facts and cool stuff! New Venue Opening: Duycker
2011-01-21 The 21st of January was the big day for brand-new venue Duycker in Hoofddorp. We had the privilege to be the very first act to play on a stage in Duycker on the opening night with Heist and Miss Montreal. Here are some nice pictures by Just Justa photography.
Harmonic Eurosonic Tour
2010-12-25 During the Eurosonic-Noorderslag festival, we planned the Harmonic Eurosonic Tour in Groningen city. We performed 7 shows in 5 days in various venues with both our electric rock-show, as well as a specially prepared acoustic show. Not only Haarlem seems to dig our music, Groningen as well :-)
The French Bastards
2010-11-13 On 13 November we played a support for the French two-man band The Inspector Cluzo at Scum, Katwijk. The French bastards performed an awesome show with classic songs like 'Fuck the bassplayer'.
Light up the Night
2010-10-16 After a year's hard work, Ravolva presented the debut 'Light up the Night' at a sold-out Patronaat in Haarlem! We Cook With Fire and DJ Hammer supported us on this special night.
